Job purpose: To work with Autonomy’s workplace consultancy and research team to deliver projects relating to working time reduction, change management, and progressive workplace policies.

Ideal candidate: A motivated, highly organised team player, who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously, delivering a range of tasks such as stakeholder engagement, project management, business development and report writing.

You have previously worked as part of a small team and would be excited by the opportunity to work within an organisation researching and advocating for social, environmental and economic change.

Duties and responsibilities

Project delivery, stakeholder engagement and business development

  • You will be a core team member, delivering a full range of consultancy services for Autonomy’s clients in the private, public and third sectors.
  • You will be working with different members of the Autonomy team – primarily fellow consultants and researchers from the Workplace team, but also other team members from our Head of Communications, to our Data Unit, as well as our editors and designers.
  • You will support our business development, identifying and pursuing new leads for our consultancy services.
  • You will conduct and support the delivery of interviews, workshops, surveys and focus groups with a variety of stakeholders.
  • You will analyse qualitative and quantitative data during consultancy projects.
  • You will work with collaborators on working time reduction across Europe and globally.
  • Dependent on experience, you may be responsible for the management of consultancy projects, ensuring services are delivered on budget and on schedule.
